TIWL Scholarship Application
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion ScholarshipÂ
Â
We offer scholarships to 35-45% of our participants who attend any of our trainings as a part of our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. The purpose of this scholarship is to expand the reach of the TIWL program and to address health disparities by engaging professionals who will commit to providing TIWL services to a range of historically disadvantaged and high-risk groups impacted by traumatic stress.
As a program, we respect the data that shows individuals seeking care tend to be best served by providers who come from their same or similar community or cultural milieu, especially when considering marginalized communities, or peoples who have experienced systemic discrimination. We will take this into consideration in our decision-making process.
The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Scholarship was developed in order to begin increasing the number of historically marginalized TIWL trained coaches and trainers, and consumers, specifically those who are currently underrepresented within the program and field at large.Â
We have a maximum number of applicants that can apply and may close earlier than expected if reached. Consider applying as soon as you are able.Â
Full and partial scholarships are available.
Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:
