2026 Recertification Windows:
March 30th - May 31st
October- December 31st

Make Sure Your TIWL Journey Doesn’t End.

Your original TIWL Certificate is valid for two (2) years from the date of completion. After this initial period, certification must be renewed annually. Annual renewal ensures that TIWL Certified Professionals remain current with evolving industry knowledge, research, and best practices supporting the trauma-informed weightlifting landscape.

Through the recertification process, you maintain active access to your certification, continuing education, and ongoing connection to the TIWL professional community.

How To Recertify your TIWL Certificate

Step 1: Submit Recertification Payment

Submit the required payment within your recertification window.
Payment must be completed before access to the recertification assessment is granted.

Step 2: Complete ONE Approved Education Pathway

Complete one of the following

1. TIWL for Coaches + quiz or TIWL for MH Professionals + quiz

2. Attend the annual Embodiment Conference Friday, April 10 @ 5:30 PM EDT | Conference Registration

Step 3: Complete the TIWL Recertification Assessment

Complete the TIWL Assessment located in the the Recertification Portal. You must score 70% or higher to receive your up to date certifricate.
