WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

  • Embody trauma-informed coaching principles by understanding ethical scope, consent practices, and referral pathways within the TIWL framework.
  • Use embodied metaphor, therapeutic dosing, and cueing to support client regulation, reflection, and resilience—translating physical practice into tools for emotional and psychological capacity building.
  • Design and program trauma-informed programs that balance progressive overload with client autonomy, pacing, and empowerment.
  • Develop strategies for collaboration between mental health providers, fitness professionals, and clients in support of embodied trauma recovery.
  • Recognize and honor your scope of practice by examining personal narratives, biases, and emotional responses that arise in coaching work—developing strategies for self-regulation, supervision, and sustainable support as a trauma-informed coach.

A NOTE ABOUT LEARNING VERSUS HEALING

This program is for professional development and learning. We recognize that although many of us may have experiences of trauma, the time we spend together will not be an intervention for our own individual healing. Talking and learning about trauma, even in the context of a training, can be triggering.

Join us for two days of learning, practice, and connection.

Step into a new way of supporting clients — one that honors the body, builds safety, and transforms strength into a healing practice.
